Torah Readings Scheduled

2011-2012 (5772) Torah Reading Schedule

The Jewish community has developed the consistent pattern of reading a section of the Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy) with suggested apostolic readings each week throughout the year. This is a discipline that most in the Messianic community have adopted as well.  ST takes these weekly readings, and considers their relevance for human living today. (The annual Torah cycle begins each year after Simchat Torah.)  Shabbatot that occur during holidays have special readings; these are noted. Weeks when ST is holding neither a Torah study nor a Shabbat morning service are shown in grey.

1” or “2” in a superscript indicates part of a double portion
*” indicates reading according to Israel, rather than Diaspora, calendar
